Dubai, also known as Dubayy, is a city on the northeastern coast of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and the capital of the emirate of Dubai. In the famous Gold Souk, in Deira, more than 200 shops sell gold jewellery and bullion. Extravagantly designed luxury hotels, some built on artificial islets, line the cityââ¬â¢s shore.
